Visit Letchworth State Park in New York
Within 1-3 hour drives, tourists to the Chautauqua area can also visit many other attractions in New York State. A spectacular place to spend a day or a weekend is Letchworth State Park.
It is located 21/2 hours northeast Of Chautauqua and will be well worth the trip to see the beauty in the park created by the glaciers so many years ago.
Walking or driving through the park offers some breathtaking sites. Gift shops, restaurants, snack bars and picnic areas are located throughout the park. Make sure to bring a camera to take some wonderful photos.
